MIX MATERIALS

When travel journalist and radio presenter Stef Burgon and advertising executive Simon Mark Hunt ditched the safety of their successful careers to create their own luxury getaway concept, Kilmartin Castle on Scotland’s rugged West Coast was the perfect location.  The couple’s combined passion for old buildings along with a love of hunting out unique places to stay saw them fall instantly in love with the 16th Century fortified castle, which they bought in 2015.  The renovations soon began and Perrin & Rowe brassware features in four of the individually designed en-suites.  This bespoke vanity design mixes reclaimed and new materials to add character to the space.  The Traditional wall mounted basin mixer in satin brass will just look better with age, as it takes on a unique patina over time.

USE COLOUR AND PATTERN

Another of Kilmartin Castle’s en-suite bathrooms features this vintage inspired vanity unit with has been teamed with our Juliet kitchen sink mixer in an aged brass finish.  One of our stunning ‘living’ finishes, it reacts with the elements to take on a unique patina that looks better with age.  The vibrant wallpaper in the background provides a colourful clash with the material mix and creates instant impact.

CREATE SOMETHING ECLECTIC

Our Traditional wall mounted basin mixer with country spout and crosstop handles in satin brass is the perfect finish to this eclectic vanity unit.  The wrought iron stand already has a patina appearing, which will perfectly complement our satin brass mixer in one of our beautiful ‘living’ finishes.

GO LUXE

For Emily Murray of The Pink House, the mantra is definitely Think Pink!  Her stunning shower room shows just how well this evocative shade complements polished brass fittings for a luxe look that will never go out of style.  With walls in polished waterproof pink plaster, the space is warm and inviting. The vanity unit combines a statement wash bowl with our Aquitaine kitchen tap for added character and charm.  Usually installed within the kitchen, this tap works equally well in bathrooms too.  Emily has also used our Georgian Shower Set and wall mounted shaving mirror for a co-ordinated look.

HOTEL CHIC

When interiors writer Jess Hurrell of Gold is a Neutral decided to renovate her bathroom, she chose a variation of our satin brass Langbourn basin set to complement a bespoke brass and marble vanity set.  She also selected our satin brass shower and bath sets too and it’s easy to see why Jess won London’s Best Bathroom in the Evening Standard and Houzz Home Design Awards.  What was once a boring beige space is now a unique and opulent design with five-star chic.  The satin brass tap works so well against the dark walls, bold tiles and luxurious marble. The brass-fronted vanity unit looks simply stunning with plenty of greenery in gold pots to add pops of vibrant contrasting colour.
