Exhausted after a busy four days at this year’s Kbb Birmingham show, we’re thrilled to report a record number of new display sales and an all-round, positive reaction to new and existing products. Not to mention the 1000 plus hot drinks that were served from the Perrin & Rowe Instant Hot Collection coffee bar!
The dual-sided stand we created for the event featured a free, interactive coffee bar on one side using our Instant Hot Collection – so visitors could enjoy a hot drink of their choice served in an instant (…in a Perrin & Rowe cup with a side of fine chocolate, naturally!) while watching our “baristas” giving a live demonstration of the collection.
This was the first outing for our new Polaris 3-in-1 Instant Hot Tap as well – which is in fact the first of its kind, fusing modern hot tap technology with the traditional styling that we are so well known for. Like the others in the collection, it adds extra functionality by dispensing hot, cold and up-to 98°C steaming hot filtered water. This means it’s ideal for classically styled kitchens as it gives the extra convenience, but eliminates the need for a kettle cluttering the work surface and detracting from the final design statement of the kitchen.
David Cole, Sales Director of Perrin & Rowe explains “We have once again successfully brought a range of brand new concepts to market, with the mind to redefine the sector and its need for classically British decorative brassware. Thanks to the highly saturated Kbb audience in attendance, we could introduce our new range of products to the retail market, with ease.”
The back section of the stand was where we put on a showcase of new products from our Deco Bathroom Collection – including the Bath Shower Mixer and Single Lever Basin Mixer, as well as a new chinaware design in the form of a Victorian Back-to-Wall Pan. All of which are now available to retailers and, as with everything with the Perrin & Rowe stamp, always 100% British made. New additions for kitchen included our Juliet Single Lever C Spout Kitchen Mixer and two new prototypes (which weren’t, as many people thought, Perrin & Rowe moving into wood effect brassware!). These went down so well, they are now moving into production, ready for summer 2016 – watch this space.
With Kbb 2016 put to bed, we’re excited and starting to think about how we top it for Kbb 2018… Thankfully, we have some time to think about it!
