We have products listed and approved in the UK, Australia, Canada & USA. In addition our products have been tested for use in the Czech Republic, China, Thailand and Singapore.
In the United Kingdom all Perrin & Rowe products have been manufactured to comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. These are the national requirements for the design, installation, composition and maintenance of water fixtures and fittings.
Many Perrin & Rowe products have been tested and certified by KIWA Watertec to ensure compliance with UK Water Regulations.
In North America we have a large range of products listed with International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO). Based in Los Angeles, they are North America’s leading plumbing & mechanical product certification organisation. IAPMO are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).

Our Plumbing Fixture Fittings file #4844 was opened with IAPMO in 2005. This includes almost three hundred kitchen and bathroom products which have been tested and listed to the relevant sections of the combined USA/Canadian Plumbing Fixture fittings standard ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1-11 and the Performance requirements for automatic compensating valves for individual showers and tub/shower combinations ASSSE 1016-05.
These products are in compliance with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC®). Designated as an American National Standard, this code was developed to govern the installation and inspection of plumbing systems as a means of promoting the public’s health, safety and welfare. All of the products listed in file #4844 display the cUPC® shield mark on the model. It is a mark which indicates the product has gone through a rigorous testing process to confirm its compliance with the codes and standards that govern its use. It helps building inspectors to easily identify the compliance of the products and accept them for installation and use.
The Drinking water system components – Health effects file #N-6994 was opened in 2005. Products listed in this file have materials and parts that come into contact with water which are manufactured in compliance with the highly exacting standard ANSI/NSF 61-2011.
The California Lead Plumbing Law – Devices and Components file #6342 was opened in October 2009. All of the products listed in this file comply with Section 1417(d) of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the lead content requirements of Section 116875 of the Californian Health & Safety Code.
File G-7430 the Water Efficient Plumbing Fixture Fittings file was opened in July 2011. This listing identifies products that are water efficient based on the reduction of water consumption when compared to the water use baseline indicated in each specification. All products listed in this file are manufactured in compliance with Cal Green – 2013.
Vitreous China file #5609 was opened in April 2008. Products listed in this file have been tested to and manufactured in compliance with ASME A112.19.2-2013 / CSA B45.1-13 (including update No. 1 dated October 2013) Vitreous China Plumbing Fixtures and Hydraulic Requirements for Water Closets and Urinals. This includes all of our chinaware, basins, pedestals and water closets in the Victorian, Edwardian and Deco ranges, plus Contemporary, Oriental and Petite Basins.
EPA WaterSense High Efficiency Toilets file #8865 indicates that the vitreous china water closets are manufactured in compliance with the EPA WaterSense Specification for Tank-type Toilets (version 1.2, 06-02-2014 edition).
In the State of Massachusetts our kitchen and bathroom products are listed with the Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation (OCABR) Division of Professional Licensure approved plumbing products.
Our kitchen models are also listed by the US Department of Energy Regulations and Compliance under Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy program (EERE). These products are listed under the Perrin & Rowe brand name in the Compliance Certification database.
Our inline filtration products are listed with the Water Quality Association (WQA) under their prestigious Gold Seal program. These have been tested and certified for claims under the following standards: – ANSI/NSF 42 Drinking water treatment units – Aesthetic effects, ASNSI/NSF 53 Drinking water treatment units – Health effects, and NSF/ANSI 372 certified lead-free products.
Based in Chicago the Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit international trade association representing the residential, commercial and industrial water treatment industry. WQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different aspects of the water industry in order to best serve consumers, government officials, and industry members. WQA is a resource and information source, a voice for the industry, an educator for professionals, a laboratory for product testing, and a communicator to the public.
The plumbing regulations in Australia require WaterMark certification for all plumbing products to prove compliance with the design, materials and construction requirements of the Australian tapware and sanitaryware standards. Without WaterMark certified products, it is illegal for a plumber to sign-off a project and issue a compliance certificate.
Perrin & Rowe products manufactured in compliance with the WaterMark requirements are engraved or marked with with the WaterMark certification marking. By purchasing from our Australian distributor you will ensure that you are buying product, which fits the local plumbing (requiring no additional adapters or converters for installation), meets WELS and WaterMark certifications and plumbing standards for that country.
Our Watermark Certificate of Conformity – level 1, WMKA 02818 is issued by SAI-Global which certifies that our tapware is evaluated to AS/NZS 3718:2005 and our showers to standard AS/NZS 3662:2005.
Australian Certification Services list our toilets and bidets under WaterMark level 1, certificate #23127. These products meet with the requirements of the following standards: AS 1172.1:2005 Water closets (WC) Part 1: Pans, AS 1172.2:1999 Amdt 1 2001 Amdt 2 2005 Water closet (WC) pans of 6/3 litre capacity or proven equivalent Part 2: Cistern, and AS 3494:1994 bidettes and bidets.
